He had a with a string of hits on both sides of the Atlantic that included some inspired re-workings of vaudeville standards as well as material from the illustrious writing and production team of Frank Slay and Bob Crewe the latter went on to have huge success with The Four Seasons. This great-value 55-track 2-CD set comprises all his releases on the Swan label from 1959 through to 1962, including all the A and B sides of his singles, plus the tracks from his three albums during that period did not otherwise appear on singles. It also includes at the beginning, by way of a bonus, the two tracks from a 1958 single by The Spindrifts with whom Freddy was the singer.
