Tenors of Our Time captures a live, in-the-moment session featuring tenor saxophonists Dave O’Higgins and Max Ionata, supported by Ross Stanley on Hammond organ and Luca Santaniello on drums. Recorded on May 14, 2018, entirely live in the same room without headphones, the album conveys the immediacy, energy, and interplay of a truly organic performance. Mixed and mastered by Dave O’Higgins at JVG Studio in Brixton, London, the recording preserves the warmth, depth, and dynamic interaction of this distinctive ensemble.
