Named one of the coolest and most dynamic players on the Minneapolis scene by Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, saxophonist Danny Kusz has built a reputation for remarkable versatility, performing alongside artists including Eric Leeds, Joey DeFrancesco, Root City and Marcus Miller sideman Alex Han. On his emotionally charged and irresistibly groove-driven album Eruption, Kusz unleashes a fiery blend of soulful intensity, drawing inspiration from alto sax legend David Sanborn and the funk-rock spirit of fellow Minneapolis icon Prince.
