This album is the result of the Blindnote project, which unites leading figures from the Belgian world‑music scene. Built around live performances that begin in complete darkness — allowing both musicians and audiences to focus solely on sound — the project brings together some thirty instruments, from the sub‑Saharan hoddu to the Anatolian saz, creating a distinctive blend of colours and traditions. Blindnote also supports the work of the Belgian NGO Light for the World, which provides care for blind children in Africa.
