With Terras, Barbara Casini and Duo Taufic create a musical landscape where cultures, languages and traditions meet with effortless naturalness. Drawing on the rich musical heritage of Brazil, the Mediterranean and the wider Latin world, the trio transforms every song into an intimate dialogue shaped by warmth, rhythmic subtlety and poetic expression. Casini's expressive voice, celebrated for its elegance and emotional depth, blends seamlessly with the refined interplay of Roberto and Eduardo Taufic, whose guitars and harmonic imagination provide both foundation and inspiration. Rather than crossing borders, Terras dissolves them, revealing a shared musical territory where lyricism, improvisation and storytelling coexist in perfect balance. The result is an album of rare intimacy, celebrating the universal language of song through artistry, empathy and a profound sense of place.
