With Agora Tà, Barbara Casini celebrates her lifelong love affair with Brazilian music in a project of remarkable warmth, elegance and cultural depth. Joined by arranger Paolo Silvestri and the Orchestra Jazz della Sardegna, Casini explores a carefully chosen repertoire that reaches beyond familiar bossa nova standards to embrace the rich diversity of Brazilian and South American song. Her expressive voice, celebrated for its authenticity and emotional nuance, brings fresh life to works by composers including Ary Barroso, Milton Nascimento, Jacob do Bandolim and Sergio Natureza, while Silvestri’s sophisticated orchestral arrangements provide a vibrant and colourful backdrop. Blending jazz sensitivity with the rhythms, poetry and melodic richness of Brazil, Agora Tà unfolds as a musical journey filled with passion, nostalgia and joy, confirming Casini’s status as one of Europe’s most compelling interpreters of Brazilian music.
