Featuring the expressive vocals of Antonella Vitale alongside the refined interplay of the Andrea Beneventano Trio, Songs in My Heart presents a richly textured jazz set shaped by elegance and sensitivity. Pianist Andrea Beneventano leads a cohesive ensemble with Francesco Puglisi on double bass and Alessandro Marzi on drums, while special guests add further color and depth—Antonello Salis contributing accordion on selected tracks (1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10–11, 14), and Giancarlo Maurino appearing on soprano sax on track 13. All songs are arranged by Beneventano and Vitale, with the exception of “You Go To My Head,” arranged by Marzi. The album was recorded at Arcipelago Studio in Rome, Italy, on April 25 and 28, 2013, and was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Stefano Isola.
